One-time National Football League Athlete Antonio Brown Enters Not Guilty Plea in Murder Attempt Charges

One-time National Football League player Antonio Brown is heading to Miami to face an attempted murder charge stemming from a shooting that took place in May, as his counsel filing a innocent response on his behalf.

Correctional documents in Essex, New Jersey, show that Brown was discharged on Tuesday early for his transfer to the state of Florida. Brown, a highly popular athletes in the National Football League, had forgone extradition to Florida from New Jersey, in which he was detained after being apprehended in the city of Dubai.

“The measures he was compelled to take were purely in defense against the claimed person’s hostile conduct. Brown was targeted that night and responded within his legal right to defend himself,” Eiglarsh said.

Brown was not promptly detained because at first authorities did not identify Nantambu as a victim. It only subsequently in May that Nantambu gave a full account about the situation to officers and named Brown as the perpetrator, the report says.

Based on his online posts, Brown had been residing in the city of Dubai for a number of weeks. In a message after the confrontation, Brown said he was defending himself because he was “attacked by several persons who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me.”
