Previous Red Bull team boss Christian Horner is apparently "ringing up pretty much every team owner" as he attempts a re-entry to F1, according to Aston Martin F1 CEO Andy Cowell.

Aston Martin is included in the organizations that are associated with Horner.

The team executive revealed he had confirmed the circumstances with squad proprietor Lawrence Stroll recently at the Singapore GP.

"It seems like Christian is contacting nearly every team principal at the moment," commented Cowell.

"I can clearly say there are no intentions for the involvement of Christian in an leadership or investment capacity in the future."

Additional Squads Respond

Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu revealed that Horner had "reached out to" the US-based team but added: "Nothing has gone any further. It is finished."

The French manufacturer executive director Steve Nielsen stated the squad's senior consultant and de facto boss Flavio Briatore was "old friends" with Horner.

The Alpine director continued: "I don't know what they talk about. All I can confirm is there are no plans for Christian to come to Alpine but this doesn't imply it couldn't occur."

The Grove-based squad boss James Vowles confirmed that the ex-chief had not contacted them.

"We're quite satisfied with the organization we have and it's working," the Williams boss said. "I see no justification to modify it."

Background Context

Horner is free to return grand prix racing by the mid-next season after completing a separation agreement with his former team on the 22nd of September.

The veteran motorsport figure was fired as the team's leader after the Silverstone race in summer.

Multiple sources at Red Bull have indicated the agreement deal was valued at 60m euros (ÂŁ52m).
