Do You Know a British Person Aged 100 or Over? We'd Love to Learn Your Story.
According to latest statistics, the population of people aged 100 and above in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
Between 2004 and 2024, the total of men aged 100 or over has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. During the same period, the count of female individuals reaching 100 almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are eager to hear from centenarians, their family or close ones, about what it has been like to bear witness to the past century’s seismic events and changes.
